Ventilation Inspection Reporting

Document ventilation evidence without overstating the test.

DampApp Pro records the extractor fans inspected in kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and other spaces, then carries their type, status and notes into the ventilation report section.

Structured fan checks with professional context

Use the fan schedule alongside the wider ventilation narrative, psychrometric observations and recommendations. Part F, positive input ventilation and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery can be addressed where relevant, while calibrated commissioning remains a separate specialist task.

Room-by-room fan schedule

Record each fan location and classify its operating type.

Working-status evidence

Mark the observed fan as working or not working at inspection.

Inspection notes

Add specific observations and optionally polish the wording with the app tools.

PDF ventilation table

Present the recorded fans beneath the surveyor ventilation narrative.

Frequently asked questions

What ventilation information does the app record?

For each extractor fan, the surveyor can record its location, whether it is intermittent, constant-flow, another type or unknown, its working status, and inspection notes.

Does DampApp Pro measure airflow or commission an MVHR system?

No. The app records inspection evidence and recommendations; it does not replace calibrated airflow measurement or specialist MVHR commissioning equipment.

How do Part F, PIV and MVHR fit into the report?

They can be discussed in the surveyor narrative, recommendations and cost schedule where relevant. The extractor-fan table provides structured evidence of the fans actually inspected.

Are fan records included in the PDF?

Yes. Listed fans appear in the ventilation section with location, type, working status and any notes.
